Brojen das was a great admirer of art and music. He was crazy after movies, be it Bangla, Hindi or English. His next passion after swimming was movies. He had many friends and admirers from the film world. Later he was indirectly associated with the production and distribution of these bangla movies: Stree, Sai Chok, Kalinkato Nayak, Babu Moshaai, Gopal Bhar. Stree was a super hit movie, which is still popular after four decades post production. He also acted in Gopal Bhar.
